Hampshire Softball Tops Taconic in Western Mass Semis

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – C.C. Thayer went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs Sunday to lead the Hampshire Regional softball team to an 11-1 win over Taconic in the Western Massachusetts Class B Semi-Finals.

 

Reagan Dubay allowed just one hit in a complete-game effort in the circle for top-seeded Hampshire.

 

Nina Maloney had the lone hit for the Thunder.

 

Taconic used Abby Bliss and Cheyann Goddard in the circle. They combined to strike out four.

 

The Thunder (11-9) waits to learn who it will face in the Division 3 State Tournament.
