Lagess Leads Hoosac Valley Past Taconic

ADAMS, Mass. – Genevieve Lagess went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and six RBIs Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 24-12 win over Taconic.

 

Izabela Tart was 2-for-2 with a home run and five RBIs, and Rachel Wnuk was 2-for-4 with a homer.

 

Gianna Witek went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in, and Gracelyn Wright was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs.

 

Wright also earned the win in the circle, allowing five earned runs in the five-inning, complete-game win.

 

Taconic got a home run, a double and six RBIs from Ella Stodden. Mollie Crawford doubled twice in a 3-for-3 day at the plate.

 

Taconic (3-6) hosts Longmeadow on Wednesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-0) hosts Drury on Thursday.
