Ullrich Leads Monument Mountain Past Hoosac Valley

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Sammy Ullrich went 4-for-4 to lead the Monument Mountain softball team to a 17-5 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Bella Viola and Alex Tenney each went 3-for-3, and Ember Raifstanger drove in three runs.

 

Meg Dupont went the distance in the circle to take the five-inning, complete-game win.

 

Izzy Tart went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and a walk, and Alyana Shears was 2-for-3 with a triple for Hoosac Valley.

 

The Hurricanes (2-2) go to Ludlow on Monday.

 

Monument Mountain (2-0) hosts St. Mary’s on Monday.
