Frontier Softball Pulls Away Late at Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – Skyler Steele hit a home run and a triple and drove in three runs Thursday to lead the Frontier softball team to a 15-9 win over Wahconah at Pine Grove Park.
 
The Red Hawks pulled away late, outscoring Wahconah, 5-0, in the sixth and seventh innings.
 
Sammy Kaley went 2-for-5 with a double, and Elena Iovieno was 2-for-4 with four RBIs to lead Wahconah’s offense.
 
Kaley and Marlee Arnhold split time in the circle for Wahconah, allowing 10 earned runs.
 
Wahconah (7-9) hosts Mohawk Trail on Monday.
