Paulin Leads Greenfield Softball Past Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – MacKenzie Paulin went 2-for-3 with a triple and struck out 10 in the circle Thursday to lead the Greenfield softball team to an 11-4 win over Mount Greylock.
 
The Mounties scored twice in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead, but the Green Wave struck for four in the third to go ahead 5-2 and never looked back.
 
Brodi Rosier hit a solo home run, and Emma Newberry and Kami Sweet each went 2-for-3 with a double for Mount Greylock.
 
Sweet struck out seven but gave up 11 hits in the circle in a complete-game effort.
 
Mount Greylock (3-4) will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Saturday morning against Drury.
