Mounties' Koffi Homers Three Times in Road Win

SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. – Malia Koffi homered three times Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to a 17-15 win over Frontier.
 
Emma Newberry, Kelsey MacHaffie, Mila Marcisz and Kami Sweet each also hit a homer, giving the Mounties seven round-trippers on the day.
 
Mount Greylock pounded out 17 hits and had a 17-9 lead in the middle of the fifth.
 
Sweet earned a complete-game win in the circle, allowing just five earned runs as Mount Greylock was tagged with six errors.
 
The Mounties (6-2) go to Wahconah on Friday, their eighth road game in nine games to start the season.
