Monument Mountain Falls to Frontier

SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. – Raine Wonsey struck out 11 and allowed one earned run in a complete-game win Wednesday as the Frontier softball team beat Monument Mountain, 8-3, in the Western Massachusetts Class B Quarter-Finals.

 

Andrea Paul went the distance in the circle for the Spartans, allowing four earned runs.

 

Monument Mountain (13-5) will finish its regular season against an opponent to be determined.

 

Second-seeded Frontier moves on to play South Hadley, a 6-3 winner over Pittsfield on Wednesday.
