Mount Greylock Softball Outslugs Monument Mountain
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Kaleigh Jaros went 4-for-4 at the plate and threw a complete game in the circle on Thursday as the Mount Greylock softball team beat Monument Mountain, 12-9.
Jaros had a pair of doubles on a day in which the Mounties pounded out nine extra-base hits.
Bayleigh Tatro was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in.
Audrianna Pelkey was 4-for-5 with a triple and five RBIs, and Evy Clairmont was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs batted in.
For the Spartans, Ember Raifstanger was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, and Andrea Paul was 2-for-5 with a double and four RBIs.
Monument Mountain
Mount Greylock (1-1) goes to Pittsfield on Friday.
Monument Mountain (1-1) is at Taconic on Monday.
