AGAWAM, Mass. – Amanda Pou struck out eight in a complete-game one-hitter in the circle and helped her own cause by going 4-for-4 with three doubles in a 7-0 win over Agawam on Thursday.

Pittsfield broke open a 0-0 game with three runs in the sixth and tacked on four more in the seventh – Pou doubled in both rallies.

“It was a tight game until the last two innings, when we finally found the gaps and drove in runs,” Pittsfield coach Brian MacDonald said.

Bella MacDonald went 2-for-4 with a triple and a double, and Paxton Ebling finished 2-for-4 with a double in a 12-hit Pittsfield attack.
