MacDonald Leads Generals Past Monument Mountain in Class B

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Bella MacDonald went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 16-4 win over Monument Mountain in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B tournament.

 

Neveah Lopez doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs, and Amanda Pou was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.

 

Mia DeJesus and Pou split time in the circle, combining to strike out nine.

 

Alex Tenney went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs for Monument Mountain.

 

Pittsfield (12-6) moves on to Friday’s regional semi-finals, where it will host Easthampton.
