Lopez, Pittsfield Outslug Mount Greylock
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Nevaeh Lopez went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 14-8 win over Mount Greylock.
Ella Bassi was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs, and Lex Spratling came off the bench to hit a triple in a 10-hit attack for the Generals.
Mia Dejesus and Ava McMahon split time in the circle, combining to strike out four and allow five earned runs for the win.
Audrianna Pelkey led Mount Greylock’s offense, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Mila Marcisz and Lydia Gaudreau each had a pair of hits.
The Mounties (5-12) go to Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
Pittsfield (7-9) finishes its regular season on Thursday at home against Monument Mountain.
