Pierce Leads Pittsfield to Victory

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Giulianna Pierce struck out four while scattering four hits Friday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 4-1 win over Cumberland, R.I.

 

Haley Tobin went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and scored twice, and Pierce drove in a pair to lead Pittsfield’s offense.

 

The Generals (11-2) are scheduled to host Cumberland again on Saturday morning.
