Arpante, Pittsfield Punch Ticket for State Tourney

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Mia Arpante went 3-for-3 with a home run Friday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 13-1 win over Longmeadow as the Generals clinched a berth in the state tournament with their 10th win of the season.

 

Mia DeJesus went 2-for-3 with a double, and Paxton Ebling was 2-for-4 with a double and scored three times.

 

Neveah Lopez was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and scored three runs for the Generals, who scored seven runs in the first inning and ended the game after five.

 

Arpante earned the win in the circle, striking out three and allowing just one hit in 4-? innings.
