McCann Tech Downs Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion

AMHERST, Mass. – Zachary Howland Monday scored 24 points to lead the McCann Tech boys basketball team to a 52-41 win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter.

 

Howland scored 11 points in the fourth quarter, when the Hornets outscored their hosts, 16-8, to pull away for the win.

 

“Good win tonight,” McCann Tech coach Chris Bullett said. “Zach was great, and we got some really key performances from Jaydon Dimitropolis and Julian Bullett.”

 

Bullett scored eight points. Dimitropolis scored five and went 3-for-3 at the free throw line.

 

McCann Tech (2-1) hosts Franklin Tech on Dec. 29.
