Lee Knocks Off McCann Tech

LEE, Mass. – Joey Abderhalden scored 17 points, and John Brighenti added 16 Monday to lead the Lee boys basketball team to a 59-48 win over McCann Tech.

 

Noah Masten and Mason Lucy each scored nine, and eight different Wildcats put the ball in the basket.

 

“We had contributions from a lot of different players tonight, which was great to see,” Lee coach Dan Korte said.

 

Jaxson Pilot scored 12 points to lead McCann Tech, which got nine from Vernie Percy.

 

The Hornets (4-3) are home onTuesday against Mohawk Trail.

 

Lee (5-4) takes a four-game winning streak into Tuesday’s home game against Veritas Charter.
