Carpenter Powers Eagles Past McCann Tech
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Brady Carpenter scored 35 points and pulled down 18 rebounds Thursday to lead the Mount Everett boys basketball team to a 63-48 win over McCann Tech.
“The team’s mental and physical toughness showed through tonight,” Mount Everett coach Jowe Warren said. “The Hive is always a tough gym to play in, times that by two on Senior Night. Staying disciplined on both sides of the ball tonight was the difference.”
Darius Taliaferro scored 14 points, and Guthrie Davis added six in the win.
McCann Tech was led by seniors Zachary Howland with 17 points and Kyle Rougeau with 10.
The Hornets (9-6) look to snap a three-game skid on Friday at Mohawk Trail.
Mount Everett (15-2) finishes its regular season on Friday at home against Mount Greylock.
