Sandifer, Harrigan Lead Taconic Boys Past Agawam

AGAWAM, Mass. – Tayvon Sandifer and Sean Harrigan returned to the lineup and combined to score 41 points in the Taconic boys basketball team’s 62-49 win over Agawam on Monday night.

 

Sandifer scored 11 of his game-high 25 in the fourth quarter, when Taconic outscored the host by a margin of 25-10 to erase a two-point deficit and earn the win.

 

Harrigan scored 16, and Maimoudou Bamba added 10 in the win.

 

Due to injuries, Harrigan had missed the last two Taconic games, both losses, and Sandifer missed the last outing.

 

CollinSmith scored 20 points to lead Agawam.

 

Taconic (12-3) goes to Green Tech on Wednesday.
