Bond, Blue Devils Down Taconic Boys

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Jorge Bond scored 35 points Friday to lead the Drury boys basketball team to an 84-65 win over Taconic.

 

Bond sank six of Drury’s nine 3-pointers in the win.

 

Shane Faucher scored 17 points, and Connor Hinkell added 10 as the Blue Devils bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to Pittsfield.

 

Charlie Driscoll scored 14 points to lead the Thunder, which got 11 from Quincy King and 10 from Kalvin Phillips.

 

Taconic (3-7) plays Staples High of Westport, Conn., on Saturday at Springfield Central in the Hoophall Invitational.

 

Drury (9-2) is home on Tuesday against Lee.
