Athol Boys Pull Away Late at Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Ben Kearney scored 17 points Tuesday to lead the Athol boys basketball team to a 52-35 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Athol’s Ray Castine scored five of his nine points in the fourth quarter, when the Bears outscored the Mounties, 29-4, to put the game away.
 
Noah Kane-Smalls scored a game-high 26 points with four 3-pointers to lead Mount Greylock.
 
The Mounties (6-9) go to Hampshire on Friday.
