Ronnow Leads Mount Greylock Boys to Win in Opener

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Aaron Ronnow scored 17 points to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 64-26 win over St. Joseph on Monday night.
 
Pat Storie scored 14, and Sean McCormack added 12 for the Mounties (1-0).
 
"Our kids came out and played hard tonight," Mount Greylock coach Bob Thistle said. "Our press was effective, and we were able to get everybody in the game."
 
Ronnow hit two 3-pointers in the first quarter as Mount Greylcok jumped out to a 20-7 lead.
 
Mike Gingras scored 14 points for St. Joe.
 
Mount Greylock hosts McCann Tech on Monday.
 
St. Joe travels to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
