Sabis Boys Edge Monument Mountain in Western Mass Semis

AMHERST, Mass. -- The Sabis boys basketball team Tuesday rallied with 20 points in the fourth quarter to earn a 70-69 win over Monument Mountain in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 semi-finals at Curry Hicks Cage.
 
Jaeden Herd scored 23 points, including seven in a fourth quarter that saw the Bulldogs rally from a 55-50 deficit to come away with the win.
 
Dion Brown scored a game-high 35 points for the sixth-seeded Spartans (17-6).
 
Connor Hanavan scored 13, and Caden Gidarakos added 10 in the loss.
 
Monument Mountain saw an eight-game winning streak come to an end with the defeat.
 
Second-seeded Sabis (14-8) moves on to Saturday afternoon's sectional final against No. 1 Narragansett (20-2), a 63-59 winner over Wahconah on Tuesday night.
