Brennan Helps Generals Top Wahconah in OT

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Patrick Brennan scored six points in overtime to help the Pittsfield boys basketball team earn a 71-8 win over Wahconah on Monday night.
 
Makai Shepardson scored a team-high 27 points to lead the Generals, who gave up a 35-23 half-time lead but rallied to improve to 11-3 this winter with their second straight win.
 
Da’Sean Brown scored 13 points, and Carter Mungin had 11 for Pittfield, which got eight points apiece from Brennan and Keanu Arce-Jackson.
 
Wahconah’s Brody Calvert scored a game-high 36 – 26 in the second half to help the visitors rally to force overtime.
 
Calvert scored eight points and went 4-for-6 at the foul line in the fourth quarter, as Wahconah outscored the Generals, 18-10.
 
Jesse Chapman scored six of his 17 points in the fourth, which also saw Patrick McLaughlin score four of his 13 points.
 
Wahconah (10-3) hosts Mount Anthony on Wednesday.
 
Pittsfield goes to Agawam on Friday.
