Smalls, Thompson Lead Generals Past Belchertown

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Noah Smalls scored 20 points, and Bri’awn Thompson added 19 on Monday to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to an 81-59 win over Belchertown.

 

Quincy Abellie and Braiden Sullivan chipped in with 13 and 10, respectively, on a night when nine different Generals made a mark in the scorebook.

 

Pittsfield broke the game open with a 22-8 second quarter to take a 48-26 lead into the locker room.

 

Smalls hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 10 points in that quarter.

 

Pittsfield (6-2) hosts Drury on Tuesday.
