Rousseau, Hoosac Boys Come Back to Top Pittsfield

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Colin Rousseau scored 17 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 58-53, come-from-behind win over Pittsfield.
 
Rousseau scored eight of his points in the second quarter, when the Hurricanes started to climb out of an 18-4 hole. It was a six-point deficit at half-time before Hoosac held the visitors to just five points in the third quarter to take a nine-point lead to the fourth.
 
Tyler Lancia scored 13, and Izaha Stubbs added 10 for the ‘Canes.
 
Pittsfield was led by Tyrell Boire with 14 and Collin Frinks with 10.
 
The Generals (6-7) look to snap a four-game losing streak on Monday against red-hot Wahconah (10-3), which on Thursday handed Drury its second loss of the season.
 
Hoosac Valley (8-6) goes to Taconic on Monday.
