Steinman Leads Lenox Boys Past Monson in Quarter-Finals

MONSON, Mass. -- The Lenox boys basketball team Friday defeated Monson, 63-53, to advance to the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts tournament.
 
Four different players finished in double figures for Lenox, led by Jett Steinman with 16 points.
 
The Millionaires took control of the game with a 19-11 second quarter, when they got six points from Averin Paradise and four from Steinman.
 
Paradise finished with 10 points. Nick Nicotra and Andre Collins added 15 and 13, respectively.
 
The fifth-seeded Millionaires (14-8) move on to face top-seeded Bay-State Charter (15-6) on Monday at Curry Hicks Cage in Amherst.
 
Bay State Friday beat Duggan, 70-61, to advance to the semis.
