Lee Comes Back in Fourth Quarter to Top Mount Greylock
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Giana Carlino scored 18 points Wednesday to lead the Lee girls basketball team to a 55-43 win over Mount Greylock.
Mika Diller scored 12 points, and Payton Simmons and Mia Puleri added six apiece as Lee finished the regular season with its fourth straight win.
The Wildcats took the lead for good in the fourth quarter, when they outscored the Mounties, 16-3.
Mia Filliault went 3-for-4 at the free throw line for Mount Greylock in the fourth on her way to an 11-point night.
Senior Mia Filliault scored a team-high 15 points on Senior Night for the Mounties. Her classmate, Kate Shelsey, scored five points.
Madi Drake finished with 10 points tor Mount Greylock (5-13), which goes to Southwick on Friday.
Lee (12-6) waits to hear who it will face in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.
