GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Giana Carlino and Ella Simone each scored 13 points, and the Lee High girls basketball team Friday showed no sign of rust after a long layoff in a 74-27 win over Monument Mountain.

Payton Simmons scored 11, and Ari Noyes and Kenzie Garrity each had eight points on a night that 10 different Wildcats made a mark in the scorebook.

Lee jumped out to an 18-7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Wildcats were playing their first game since Dec. 29, a 10-day holiday break in the middle of their schedule.

For Monument Mountain, Addison Kramek and Ynes Bourdon each scored seven points.

The Spartans (2-6) are at Pioneer Valley Christian on Monday.

Lee (5-2) Monday has a rematch against Mount Greylock in Williamstown.
