NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Kayla McGrath and Jacinta Felix Thursday each scored 12 points to lead the Drury girls basketball team to a 40-30 win over Lenox.

The Blue Devils (4-2) led, 16-6, at half-time before the Millionaires were able to draw within two points in the second half.

"We certainly felt the effect of our nine-day pause," Drury coach Ian Downey said. "We played great defensively in the first half but couldn’t get anything to fall. The second half, I thought we started to lose our legs. We didn’t have as much energy as we did in the first half.

"As shots continued to not fall and fouls mounted up we started to lose our composure which opened the door up for them to claw back in."

Felix shot 7-for-9 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to help secure the win.

Alyssa Russell scored eight points in the win.

Tabor Paul scored 10 points to lead Lenox.

The Millionaires go to Mount Everett on Friday.

"Unfortunately we have a quick turnaround with long road trip to Ludlow tomorrow and a home game against Lee on Monday," Downey said. "None of these teams are going to feel sorry for us so we need to power through some adversity right now and get back to playing the basketball we were playing before the break."
