Carlson, Moulton Lead Drury Girls to First Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Olivia Carlson scored 16 points and grabbed 22 rebounds to lead the Drury girls basketball team to a 55-49 win over Mount Evrerett in the opening round of the Gene Wein Memorial Tournament.
 
Molly Moulton scored 17 and committed just two turnovers.
 
As a team, Drury (1-1) committed just six turnovers in the second half as it erased a 26-20 half-time deficit to advance to Thursday's tournament final against Mount Greylock, a winner over Lenox in the first round.
 
Gwendolyn Carpenter led the Eagles (2-1) with 23 points, and Parker Snyder and Emily Coon had seven apiece for Mount Everett, which will play Lenox in Thursday's consolation game.
