Taconic Girls Fall at Easthampton

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – Samone Young scored 24 points Tuesday to lead the Easthampton girls basketball team to a 53-35 win over Taconic.

 

The Eagles jumped out to a 25-9 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in dropping Taconic to 0-2 this winter.

 

Melanie Hamilton scored 21 points, and Evellyn Croce added 10 in the loss.

 

Taconic hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
