Pudlo, Wahconah Girls Hold on for Two-Point Win at Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Lily Pudlo scored 11 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, as the Wahconah girls basketball team held off Taconic for a 42-40 win on Thursday night.
 
Pudlo hit four of six from the line in the fourth to help Wahconah hold on after Taconic used a 13-4 third quarter to erase nearly all of a 26-15 half-time deficit.
 
Emmy Cote scored 10, and Ashley Zink and McKenna McIlquham added seven and six, respectively, in the win.
 
Jasmine Rodriguez scored 11, and Janee Walker and Maddy Quinto each had nine for Taconic (5-9), which goes to Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
 
Wahconah (8-5) takes a four-game winning streak into Tuesday’s game at Drury.
