Belchertown Girls Edge Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Gina Camerota scored 15 points, and the Belchertown girls basketball team used a big third quarter to earn a 51-50 win over Mount Greylock on Tuesday night.
 
The Mounties had a 25-24 lead at half-time, but the Orioles outscored the hosts, 21-12, in the third quarter to build a big lead and then hung on in the fourth to eke out the win.
 
Emma Newberry and Abby Scialabba each scored 14 to lead Mount Greylock, which got eight from Tessa Leveque.
 
The Mounties (3-10) go to McCann Tech on Thursday.
