Northampton Girls Deal Pittsfield First Loss

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Emme Calkins scored 16 points Thursday to lead the Northampton girls basketball team to a 55-50 win over Pittsfield.

 

The Blue Devils pulled away by outscoring Pittsfield, 19-8, in the fourth quarter to hand the Generals their first loss.

 

Caprese Conyers scored 13 points to lead Pittsfield. Bre’Jai Ellerbee finished with 12, and Harolyn Castillo had 11 points and seven rebounds.

 

Pittsfield (5-1) goes to Springfield Central on Tuesday.
