Generals Bounce Back Against South Hadley
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Caprese Conyers scored 24, and Kyana Summers had a double-double Thursday as the Pittsfield girls basketball team snapped a two-game skid with a 79-64 win at South Hadley.
Summers scored 20 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, swiped the ball eight times and passed out four assists in the win.
Harolyn Castillo just missed a double-double with 17 points and nine boards, and Bre’jai Ellerbee and Asia Smith-Moody added seven and six points, respectively.
The Generals shot 15-of-19 as a team from the free throw line in the win.
Pittsfield (6-2) goes to Springfield on Saturday to face Glastonbury, Conn., in the Hoophall Invitational.
