Generals Avenge Loss to Minnechaug, Get 10th Win

WILBRAHAM, Mass. – Bre’jai Ellerbee scored 15 points on five 3-pointers Thursday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 50-33 win over Minnechaug.

 

Harolyn Castillo scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Generals, who bounced back from Saturday’s loss to the Falcons and earned their 10th win of the season to ensure a berth in the Division 3 State Tournament.

 

Caprese Conyers scored 11 points and passed out three assists, and Kyana Summers grabbed 10 rebounds to go with five points and six assists.

 

Pittsfield (10-4) hosts Northampton on Monday.
