Defense Keys Pittsfield to Win over Drury

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Peyton Steinman scored 24 points, and the Pittsfield girls basketball team held Drury to eight first half points in a 48-37 win over the Blue Devils on Tuesday night.
 
Steinman scored five and Allie Hunt had four in a low-scoring first half that saw the Generals go to the locker room with a 19-8 lead.
 
Steinman got untracked offensively in the fourth, scoring 12 points -- four at the foul line.
 
Toni Satrape finished with eight points for Pittsfield.
 
Molly Moulton scored a team-high 16, and Katlyn Toomey added six for Drury.
 
The Blue Devils (4-4) host Wahconah on Friday.
 
Pittsfield (6-2) take on Longmeadow on Friday at the HoopHall Classic at Springfield College.
