Lenox Tops Hoosac Valley

LENOX, Mass. – Grace Julieano scored 17 points Thursday to lead the Lenox girls basketball team to a 71-52 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Evelyn Julieano scored 14, and Isabella Giardina added 12 in a balanced Millionaires attack.

 

Giardina knocked down three of her four 3-pointers in the second quarter, when Lenox outscored Hoosac Valley, 24-6, to take a 37-14 lead into the locker room.

 

Layla Soules and Claire O’Brien each scored nine, and Katie Shove had eight points in the win.

 

Genevieve Lagess scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Hurricanes.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-10) hosts Wahconah on Monday.

 

Lenox (3-10) hosts Drury on Monday.
