NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Molly Moulton and Katie Toomey led all players with 11 points each as the Drury High girls basketball team beat Lenox, 39-29, Wednesday night.

Molly Moulton scored nine of her 11 points in the second half to help secure the win.

“We were pretty bad from the free throw line tonight,” Drury coach Brian Flagg said. “No one hung their heads and nobody got down. They just picked each other up and found other ways to win the game."

The Blue Devils (2-2), shot 5-for-25 from the foul line, but found other ways maintain their lead. They lead the whole game and were able to withstand a late push by Lenox.

For Lenox (0-5), Mollie Herrick was the high scorer with 9 points, all from the 3-point line.

Drury got off to a fast start, leading 12-2 early, and took a 20-12 lead into the half. After the fast start the Blue Devils never looked back and continued to extend their lead throughout the game.

Drury will host Brattleboro on Tuesday. Lenox will play Mount Everett at home Tuesday.
