Dear Lee Chamber Members,
For those of you who made it to our last "Business After Hours" at the Cork N' Hearth Restaurant on February 20th, I'd like to thank you for your support and interest. Owner & Chef Chris Ryan treated us to some delicious hors d'oeuvres and a great rundown of his operation.
Congratulations to Lois Ernst from the Appleton House B &B for winning the Drawing of a $ 25.00 gift certificate to Prime Outlets.
The Next "Business After Hours" will be May 22nd at 5:30 p.m. at the Federal House B & B on Pleasant St. in Lee (South Lee). These gatherings are designed to showcase a particular business (usually our host) as well as to allow time for our Chamber members and prospective Chamber members to network. Feel free to come, bring your business cards and mingle!
Lee Founders Weekend will be September 26th, 27th, and 28th this year. The Chamber is always looking for new ideas or suggestions. Call the Visitors Information Center at 243-0852 with your input.
"Echoes of Main St.," a video celebrating the 225th Anniversary of Lee, is available at the Visitors Information Center. The video, created by Steve Landry, is a wonderful documentary of the growth of Lee and is well worth the $10.00 price tag.

Berkshire Food Project Closed for Power Issues
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Berkshire Food Project is closed Monday because of a power outage early in the morning.
"We are unable to get proper electricity and heat to the building," according to Executive Director Matthew Alcombright. "We hope that this can be resolved and be open tomorrow."
The project does have some sandwiches and frozen meals that will be distributed at the entry.
