On Tuesday, September 27th Brayton Elementary School is sponsoring a very special presentation by motivational speaker Wayne Soares. During the school day Mr. Soares will be speaking to Brayton students in grades 3, 4, and 5.
His evening presentation to parents “The Power of Words†will focus on teamwork, bullying and cooperation. The presentation will be held in the Brayton School cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. This engaging speaker is truly inspirational.
As a co-host of FOX Sports Net’s new comedic sports television show, OUT OF BOUNDS—debuting this fall– Wayne Soares is billed as a regular guy, but this combination broadcaster, motivational speaker and aspiring actor is anything but.
Wayne Soares is a 1988 graduate of North Adams State College, now MCLA, where he majored in communications. Prior to his new series, Wayne honed his skills as a New York Mets minor league announcer before ending a 6-year career at ESPN Radio last season.
His speaking engagements take him from boardrooms of America’s biggest corporations (Chrysler, GE and Mutual of Omaha) to the halls of the most distinguished colleges (Harvard University, University of Notre Dame and Williams) and into the classrooms of the country’s best schools. In the past 4 years, Wayne has brought his message to over 1,000 elementary, middle and high schools throughout the United States, including Canada.
As a member of the NCAA’s Speakers Bureau, Wayne is a regular guest at the Basketball Hall of Fame’s “Champions in Character†series, the Reebok High School Awards Banquet and has been featured in Sports Illustrated for Kids.
In addition to his OUT OF BOUNDS show, Wayne is being cast for small roles in a World War II adventure film and a television comedy, both due out next year. He donates his charitable time to the Massachusetts and Maine Special Olympics and is the proud father of three children, Wesley & Spencer and a little girl, Jessie.
