McCarthy Leads Wahconah Past Lenox

DALTON, Mass. – Madison McCarthy Tuesday scored 25 points to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 76-44 win over Lenox.

 

McCarthy hit five of her seven 3-pointers and scored 17 points in the first quarter, when Wahconah stormed out to a 22-4 lead.

 

Danielle Hagmaier scored 13 points, and Sammie Kaley added eight in the win.

 

Grace Julieano scored 11 points for Lenox, which got eight points from Katie Shove.

 

Lenox (0-3) is off until Jan. 2, when it travels to Frontier.

 

Wahconah (3-1) hosts Lee on Monday.
