Berkshire Museum presents Berkshire Children's Theater's Sleeping Beauty
PITTSFIELD – The Berkshire Children’s Theater will perform “Sleeping Beauty” at the Berkshire Museum in downtown Pittsfield on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m., and on Sunday April 27, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults ($5 members) and $7 for children ages 3-18 ($3 members), and include Berkshire Museum admission. Tickets are available by telephone at 413-443-7171, extension 10.Family Performances at the Berkshire Museum are underwritten by the Sol and Rita Toscher Memorial Fund and sponsored by Pittsfield Cooperative Bank.
“Sleeping Beauty” is the tale of a princess who falls prey to an evil spell; the fate of the kingdom rests with three small fairies and a courageous prince.
Founded in 2004, the Berkshire Children’s Theater is a company of approximately 40 children from Berkshire County and New York. They perform a variety of musical presentations throughout the region under the direction of Kara Powers Demler, director, and Debbie White, assistant director.
