A Spaghetti Western benefit calling all cowboys and cowgirls

On June 20, 2008,6pm st the ITAM Lodge the Sister City Music Ambassadors, RecipeE and Newspapers in Education will celebrate the old Italian Spaghetti Westerns with a showing of some of the films made famous during their popularity. The evening celebration of these films will include a wild west sing along and dancing with music performed by the Sister City Music Ambassadors. Andy Kelly and the Ambassadors have performed all over the United States and throughout Europe.

It is their desire to build bridges between religion, political systems and culture by highlighting that people generally have the same goals,desires, hopes and troubles. The Ambassadors will be visiting a small city in the county Mayo, Ireland. They will performing parades and celebrate the annual Salmon Festival, the group also performs in civic halls and schools while visiting Ireland. They will be representing Pittsfield as part of our 10th year celebration of forming of the sister city relationship.
 
RecipeE, under the direction of Chef Powers, will be serving up Pasta, meatballs, sausage,eggplant parmesiana, hot rolls,family style antipasto and dessert. The evening is also awards night for RecipeE each student that attends the workshops will receive the RecipeE education award. RecipeE is a hands on teen program free of charge for those teens who will benefit from a specialized program that gives teens the opportunity to achieve their goals in education, work and life. RecipeE offers the opportunity to work with professionals and explore career choices and the culinary arts.
