Berkshire Immigrant Center Announces “Walk-in Wednesdaysâ€
PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Due to an increasing demand for services, the Berkshire Immigrant Center has begun to offer walk-in hours to enable those seeking immigration advice or services to avoid waiting weeks for an appointment. Beginning Wednesday, June 3rd “Walk-in Wednesdays” will take place weekly from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 88 South Street, Pittsfield, MA.Participants are invited to sign up for appointments on a first-come first-served basis any time between 10:00 a.m and 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Experienced immigration counselors will provide half hour consultations and case assessments for such benefits as U.S. citizenship, family relative petitions, adjustment of status applications, green card renewals, and non-immigrant visas.
Follow up appointments and/or referrals with the Center or an immigration attorney will be arranged as needed. A $10.00 consultation fee is requested, but no one will be refused service for inability to pay. Immigration counselors speak both Russian and Spanish languages.
