NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Eleven Trailblazers broke into the score column, led by Alie Dobrovolc's game high 26 points, as the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts ran past visiting Sage College, 80-57, on Saturday.

With the win, the Trailblazers improve to 10-9 while Sage falls to 8-11.

MCLA led throughout the entire contest eventually moving out to a 43-33 halftime lead. Out of the locker, the Trailblazers used a decisive 18-4 run to push out to an insurmountable 61-37 lead with 14:00 minutes left to play. Trailblazer Jen Wehner had nine points in the spurt while Dobrovolc added six. Sage would get no closer than 19 the rest of the way.

Dobrovolc was 11-20 from the floor. She completed the double double by adding 12 boards. Lucy Tremblay was also productive chipping in with 16 points and 6 steals. She connected on 3-7 shots from beyond the arc. Wehner collected 13 points.

For the Gators, Sarah Carciobolo was outstanding as she finished with 23 points. She was 9-16 from the floor. She was the only Gator to reach double figures. Sage was hurt by 28 turnovers compared to just 19 for MCLA.

The Trailblazers head into a key MASCAC matchup this Tuesday as they look to avenge an earlier loss to Salem State University. Tip off is set for 5:30 p.m.
