CHESHIRE, Mass. — The town has released a public survey to inform the development of a Hazard Mitigation Plan & Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) plan. 

 

Hazard Mitigation is the first step in identifying disasters and preparing for them through actions. This plan ultimately aims to mitigate or reduce the impacts of extreme weather when it strikes. 

 

MVP planning focuses specifically on climate-related impacts with the goal of implementing actions to help better prepare for future climate conditions.

 

Residents are asked to fill out this survey to help in the process.
