FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Mount Everett graduate Gwen Carpenter went 6-for-9 with a home run, a triple, three doubles and four RBIs Saturday to lead the Framingham State softball team to a double-header sweep of MCLA.
The Rams won by scores of 12-1 and 19-3 in a pair of games ended after five innings.
Hailey Peabody went 2-for-3 in each game for the Trailblazers.
MCLA (6-13, 0-4 MASCAC) is at Castleton State on Tuesday.
