STAMFORD, Vt.—The Stamford Community Library will present a program on "Putting Your Garden to Bed for Winter" on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m.
The hour-long program, presented by longtime plant expert Pam Tworig, will cover preparing perennial beds for winter, and protecting plants from winter weather and damage from animals. She will also discuss the benefits of, types, and characteristics of different plants for winter interest in the garden.
The informal event will allow plenty of time for Q&A. Attendees are encouraged to bring their gardening questions.
