    PITTSFIELD: Sand piles have been placed at the Barker Road and Peck's Road fire stations and the Williams Street Plaza. Residents are requested to limit their pickups to 50 pounds (one 5-gallon pail) per visit.

    The City of Pittsfield Recreation Program has teamed up with the Albany Devils Hockey team to offer tickets at a group discounted rate for City of Pittsfield residents for their game on Saturday, March 14, vs the Syracuse Crunch.  The game begins at 5 p.m. at the Times Union Center. The discounted ticket price is $13 ; age 2 and under are free).  The ticket order deadline is Friday, March 6. Tickets can be ordered here.
