SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Makayla Carpenter stopped 14 shots Wednesday as the Mount Everett girls soccer team played Hopkins Academy to a scoreless tie.

“Very competitive game today on both ends,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “Hopkins had several chances, we had several chances, but no one could find the one to put in the back of the net. Makayla did a great job filling in today at goalie and we had to rely on our bench today to help with injuries and sickness.”

Mount Everett (7-3-3) hosts Lee on Saturday.
